Sometimes I forget how very fickle I am. It's an unfortunate trait of mine, but it is what it is and there's not much I can do to change it. The heart wants what it wants. And then next minute, mine happens to want something else. :)
I am strangely okay with that these days.
"What is the student but a lover courting a fickle mistress who ever eludes his grasp?"
-- William Osler
"True, I talk of dreams, which are the children of an idle brain,
Begot of nothing but vain fantasy, which is as thin of substance as the air
and more inconstant than the wind."
-- William Shakespeare
"Love is a capricious creature which desires everything and can be contented with almost nothing."
-- Madeline de Scudery
"O woman!- In our hours of ease, uncertain, coy and hard to please, and variable as the shade, by the light quivering aspen made; when pain and anguish wring the brow, a ministering angel thou."
-- Sir Walter Scott
Okay, okay. I'm done!
Happy mind-changing, sunshines!
